Overview
How to create a recurring Teams meeting.
Issue
You want to create a weekly, monthly, or otherwise recurring Teams meeting.
Instructions
- Open the Teams Calendar:
- In Microsoft Teams, go to the Calendar tab on the left-hand menu.
- Click "New Meeting":
- Select the New Meeting button in the top-right corner.
- Fill Out Meeting Details:
- Add a title for the meeting (e.g., "Class name and #").
- Invite participants by entering their email addresses or selecting them from your contacts (not required).
- Choose the start and end time for your meeting.
- Set Recurrence:
- Below the date and time, you'll see an option labeled "Does not repeat" (or similar). Click on it.
- Choose from the available options (e.g., Daily, Weekly, Monthly). For custom patterns, select Custom and define the recurrence settings.
- Add a Description (Optional):
- Include any details or an agenda for the meeting in the description box.
- Save the Meeting:
- Once everything is set, click Save. The recurring meeting will appear on your calendar
- .Sharing the meeting to your class (Optional):
- Right click the meeting on your Teams calendar and select ‘Copy Link’
- Share this link with your class Via Brightspace or a mass e-mail to the entire class to make sure the students get it.
